Page for the Fiery Warpath

Posted: May 26, 2011 in Uncategorized

Dear Readers,

I found myself in an interesting situation. On the one hand, I’ve made a decision to stick with being “gone” from mousehunt. On the other hand, there have been lots of comments asking for a Baron page that I really can’t write- I’ve never been there, and that makes it a challenge to offer any advice. However, with an average daily viewership of 8,000 people, you all deserve something for your continued following of the guide.

SO, I have compromised. I have created a page. It is comprised of advice that is not my own, but instead is a compilation of information from other sources that, when put together, should be able to guide you. In this way, you can still come here if you need advice on the Baron area- it just won’t be from me.

Six Million views… who could have ever guessed that the guide would become such an important part of the hunt for this community. And it has been great to provide this service to you. I hope that this new page helps and I hope that you can continue to use the guide successfully to help you hunt. I wish all of you the best.

3/23- Time to take a break

Posted: March 23, 2011 in Uncategorized

We all hit those times in our lives when it really is time to just take a break from the distractions. In my case, graduation, a career and a wife have gotten in the way of fiddling with Mousehunt. This is, I think, a healthy batch of distractions, and so effective today, the guide will no longer be updated.

Of course, the trouble with mousehunt is that it’s like an itch. Be it a week, a month, or a year, you tend to eventually come back and get hooked again. And so while this is goodbye, do be sure to check back, because I’m not sure how long I’ll be able to avoid scratching this one.

In the event that I do return (A decent phone app might hook me back, I must admit), I will utilize the fanpage to keep all of you abreast of the situation.

BUT, until that time, it’s been fun, and I wish you all the best. Happy Hunting!

Fan Page

With the guide coming back and being updated, it seems logical to bring back the fan page.

By becoming a fan you can get updates to the guide mentioned on your home page, rather than having to come here and look for updates.

Furoma has been redone

Posted: July 6, 2010 in Uncategorized

I didn’t realize until after I came back recently that for the past six months there hasn’t even BEEN a Furoma page on this website. Seeing as Furoma’s one of the more complex areas in the game, I imagine that was pretty frustrating. My apologies.

However, my first fix was to quickly copy and paste the guide from my original Google docs page, which had not been updated since June of 2009. While it was an OK replacement, it was missing several things. However, that’s all fixed now. Furoma is up to date with all of the pertinent information that you’ll need.

I’ll be reading through the last pages in the next day or so, and then I’ll write up a page concerning the three super-mice, along with some strategies for all of the other mice that you wouldn’t normally catch during routine hunting.

Balack’s Cove

Posted: July 4, 2010 in Uncategorized

So I’m a little behind the bandwagon here, but I’ve finally put up the Balack’s Cove section.

I’m going to hold off on the King’s Gauntlet until it’s totally done, too- I’ll get working on odds and ends next.

The layout is changing…

As you can see, I’ve changed the theme of the guide.
